The Romanian national team defeated the Slovenian team with a score of 20-8 (5-1, 5-6, 5-1, 5-0), on Monday morning, in a match from Group D of the European Men’s Water Polo Championship Under- 19 in Burgas (Bulgaria), informs Agerpres.
After 14-8 against the Czech Republic, the tricolors prevailed against Slovenia with the goals scored by Octavian Mihai (5), Andrei Tepelus (4), Adrian Pascaluta (3), Filip Dragomir (2), Serban Burda (2), Richard Orsos (1), Luca Istrate (1), Robert Cimpoieru (1), Mihai Alexandru (1).
Romania will play against Bulgaria on Tuesday (19:30).
The first two placed in the group will enter the play-off for the quarter-finals.
